AUTOMATICA, which is the world’s largest trade show for automation and robotics technology, has just come to an end. This year, Nerian Vision Technologies has been present with a stand, where we demonstrated our SP1 stereo vision sensor for real-time 3D depth perception.
AUTOMATICA has experienced an astonishing increase in visitor numbers this year. Approximately 45,000 people visited the fairground in Munich during the four days of the exhibition, which is an increase of 30%. We are very glad that many visitors dropped by at our stand to take a first-hand glance at our stereo vision technology.
We have had many conversations at our stand, which revealed to us the diversity of applications for 3D sensor systems. This variety makes it important that a sensor system can be used flexibly, and that it delivers robust measurements in any environment. This strengthens our believe that we are on the right track with our SP1 stereo vision sensor.
We are already looking forward to 2018, when AUTOMATICA will open its doors again.
