As this camera does not seem to support the USB3 Vision protocol, it is not possible to connect it to SceneScan. We recommend using cameras from a manufacturer that has been compatibility tested by us. These are: Allied Vision, FLIR and Basler

the camera is USB3 vision compliant.
Moreover, as per more vague google search, all lumenera Lt series cameras support USB3 Vision


May I know if Lumenera Lt29059 integration with scenescan pro is supported, please?
How exactly do we connect the camera to the latter?

This is interesting. The older data sheet that you linked before did not list USB3 Vision protocol as supported interfaces. If they have USB3 Vision support, then the cameras should in principal work. However, USB3 Vision is a complex standard and different manufacturers interpret it differently. Hence, we still strongly recommend using cameras that have been tested for compatibility. If there are any compatibility issues we will do our best to resolve them, but functionality cannot be guaranteed if the manufacturer did not completely adhere to the standard (which we have seen many times in the past).

Regarding wiring for the trigger signal: Please check the documentation form the camera manufacturer. SceneScan outputs a 3.3V trigger pulse that needs to be connected to a trigger input (pinout of the trigger-output can be found in the SceneScan manual). For Allied Vision, Basler and FLIR cameras we can provide pre-manufactured Y-shaped trigger cables.

One further note: the resolution of the camera that you have linked is beyond the capabilities of SceneScan. Hence this camera can only be used in pixel-binning mode or with a cropped ROI.
