Re: IMU position relative to cameras
Hi Jan, this is the data sheet for the IMU inside Scarlet: https://www.bosch-sensortec.com/media/boschsensortec/downloads/datasheets/bst-bno055-ds000.pdf The output characteristics for the accelerometer (linear accelerations) and gyroscope (angular velocities) can be found on pages 14 to 16. For the...

Re: IMU position relative to cameras
Hi, The rotation axes should be aligned with the coordinate system of the 3D point cloud (that is z-axis is the depth axis). I measured the offset of the IMU relative to the center of the left image sensor is. This is: Along the baseline (X): 145.6mm Vertically (Y): 13.1mm above the image sensor cen...

Re: How can i get color image?
Hi, according to your screenshot, your Karmin3 camera is a Mono model, so you will not be able to receive a color image from it. Karmin3 is available with monochrome and color image sensors. For depth measurement accuracy, monochrome sensors are preferred due to the superior image quality (higher sh...

Hi, according to your screenshot, Jumbo frames are enabled on the device. Can you please verify that Jumbo are also enabled on the host PC? Please see the current manual on page 13: https://en.nerian.alliedvision.com/nerian-content/downloads/manuals/scenescan/scenescan_manual_v1_18.pdf Also, accordi...

Re: Image Stitching
Hi Jan, do you mean to stitch the left and right camera image into a single image? As the cameras share mostly the same field-of-view, there wouldn't be very much image data gained. In the best case (an object placed at the minimum measurable depth), the increased field-of-view due to stitching woul...

Re: Stuck at "Ask parameter server to set stereo mode ..."
Hi Jan, this is indeed a strange behavior. The multi-cast network communication that we use for device enumeration worked, but creating a connection seems to fail. First of all, you can delete lines 50 and 51 from the example and it should still work. What these two lines do is create a connection t...

Re: System hangs when fetching images from SceneScanPro
Hi Saurabh, Alright, let me know when you need further help. Also: when using multiple SceneScans please put considerations into how they are connected. Each SceneScan can produce up to 900 MBits/s traffic on the link. So connecting multiple SceneScans through a single 1 Gigabit Link would not work....

Re: Connect Problem
Hi, 1. According to your screenshot, Jumbo frames are not enabled for the two network interfaces (MTU = 1500 bytes). Could you please follow the instructions from the Manual to enable Jumbo Frames? 2. Is it possible that your PC and SceneScan are in different subnets? In that case the broad-cast mes...
